Fauci has attacked choirs and church gatherings for spreading the coronavirus while dodging questions about protests. This whole thing is so obviously political it is incredible that anyone thinks it is medical science driving any of it.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, in June said churches should consider suspending their choir if located in an area with a high infection rate. On Friday, Fauci refused to say whether large protests should also be suspended.
The proper response is that short of avoiding nursing homes when you are sick, stop doing anything differently than you did back in February. Full stop. No exceptions. Until enough Americans overcome their hysteria, though, I’m afraid we’ll be dealing with ever-increasing nonsense (like googles). Nothing stops Fauci from recommending Hazmat suits at this point. I’m sure if we wore them for the next five centuries, non-stop, we’d “finally get this thing under control” as he likes to put it.
In truth, we need to get the burning fear under control, and Fauci is like gasoline. Trump would do well to silence him.
