New Outbreaks Among Countries Praised By Media All Summer

There are two things we should all know by now and which I’ve tried repeating with evidence at every opportunity:

• The coronavirus is going to spread no matter what we do.
• That really isn’t as apocalyptic as people think.

On the former front, here’s a huge list of countries that were praised for the response to the coronavirus and which are now all seeing resurgences. You can bet your entire fortune that the media will not take back their praise or their endorsement of the methods which are clearly failing.

But that doesn’t mean you have to fall for it anymore.

What we've learned about COVID-19 is that it's extremely difficult to keep down for long. Many countries that were praised a few months ago for their response to it inevitably have had a spike at some point or another.
