One wonders what our evil overlords will do next in order to subvert justice and prevent such an instance of it as this from ever recurring. A certain obese Semitic member of the House of Reprehensibles is already making noises about coercing the Injustice Department into violating double jeopardy and making Kyle suffer through a federal Stalinist show trial. I do hope that if he is foolish enough to do this that the move is the spark that ignites the hot stage of Civil War II.

I read about the threat of double jeopardy. Given the reactions of normally apolitical friends and family – and assuming I’m relatively average – this trial separates the screeching demons on the Left from everyone else, and would result in lines drawn very favorably if/when things go hot.

Apparently the UK abolished double jeopardy from their legal system some years ago. Horrific. Unfortunately, all of my Brit friends, coworkers and acquaintances think it was a good thing because “too many guilty people were outsmarting the law.” Of course that says more about the quality of Britain’s justice system than about its criminals, but then again, these are the same people who are gleefully lining up in droves to get the Davos Death Jab and can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t. Pitiful. How they ever maintained an empire that spanned most of the globe mystifies me.
