Who knew that the patriarchal view of sexual ethics and gendered piety is that the world oppressed women until we were enlightened 150 years ago and have only grown more enlightened since?
If you suggest to patriarchal/trad women on Twitter that maybe women aren’t equipped for polemics and overt cultural warfare in the same way as men, you’ll find out that really, we’re all feminists now.
“Liberation” has certainly done wonders:
If she doesn’t confess that she was her father’s property until she got married and then became her husband’s property, then she is not a trad wife. If she ever lived outside her father’s house prior to marriage, or currently lives outside her father’s house and is unmarrried, she is not nor can ever be a trad wife. But perhaps we can call her a tradfem wife, and oppose tradfeminism to radfeminism, but she is not simply trad.

“patriarchal/trad women”
I will dare to assert that there is, for all practical intents and purposes, no such thing in the Anglophone Western world anymore. While their number is not absolutely zero, they are so rare as to be statistically nonexistent. Those women who label themselves as “tradcon” are LARPers, and not very enthusiastic ones at that. But then again, they don’t really need to be. The majority of Anglophone men in the Western world are soyboys so steeped in feminism that they recoil more fiercely in horror at the thought of actual patriarchy than do tradcon women.
