I’m doing this survey, as I expressed here, to learn more about what our forebears in the faith believed, from the earliest moments of the church after those recorded in Scripture. I have little hope of making it through a thoughtful reading of all these early sources (there are thousands of works, some of them substantial). Anything is better than nothing, though.

I’ve read Clement, Justin Martyr, and Irenaeus (especially) many times before. This project is more for the lesser known authors, though even those four may get some treatment.
I’m unlikely to abandon many of my doctrinal positions.
